The Dilemma

so i am using this online app called Family Tree and i am trying to add my brothers and sisters names to it but there is just one problem...the app does not allow me to add more than one mother... ok so i have a job for all my computer nerd/techie/webdeveloper friends! Create an interactive online family tree that allows the user to add more than one mothers (or fathers) in the same family. help me display what some Jamaican family trees really look like

Physical Features of the Men

The Men are tall maybe six feet or maybe a little shorter or taller.

My Brother thinks he is Spartacus and he acts that way everyday.

They have the built of Scotsman: Broad shoulders, Built torso, big muscles, big calves, big feet.

Very Athletic, favourite hang out spot is the gym.

Personality Features of Men

Very Competitive, sometimes too competitive and aggressive

love to fight other people or to watch one

Very talented in the Arts especially Music, Singing, Dance,

Smooth talker with the ladies

Loves to talk period.

Has a lot of kids

Features of the Women

Very Beautiful (Of course I was going to indicate that I too am very beautiful)

Love to be the center of attention

Very talented

Likes to eat (talking about myself here)

Loves being around a lot of people

Is a socialite at one stage of her life.

Very talented in the Arts especially Music, Singing, Dance,

Facial Features Common to males and females

My Father and Brothers have Hazel eyes which sometimes look light brown or some shade of green (unfortunately I did not get this)

High Cheek bones

Big Huge Thick “Jay-Z size looking” lips

Strong Teeth and Huge Smile

Other common features

Huge Smile (Suitable for Colgate Commercial)

Very Ambitious

Very Competitive (Whether it be Sports, Work, Academics, Arts)

Very Talented

Is usually the leader or with some position of responsibility

Very Style and Fashion Conscious

Very good with their hands (especially any Art and Craft, Very Good with Machines)

Loves to talk (did I mention that before?)

Very gregarious (did I just mention that?)

Loves to eat (did I mention that before too?)

Has a taste for great cuisine; See food and eating as being an art (didn’t I just mention that too?)

Ok it may sound like I am bragging about the McGhie family but it is really true!!!

Did I leave out anything? If you don’t observe some of these traits in yourself, you must observe them in some of the members of your family. If you do not observe not even one of these traits in yourself or your family, You are NOT a McGhie! Don’t feel bad its ok to belong to another family but just not this one. Feel free to add your observances too.

A Little McGhie Family History

The McGhie Family History that I share here was gained through talking to some of you who are members of this group in person, on the phone or online through emails.

As you all know, most people with the name "McGhie" are descendants from common ancestors who were from Scotland. Some of you have told me that there was one particular ancestor from Scotland who came to Jamaica, and just kept on having a whole lot of kids with different women. I guess he must have been the Roaming Romeo of that village.

Another story some of you have told me is that the main ancestor was married and from a very prominent family in town, however he kept having affairs outside of the marriage, and the "bastard kids were not welcome at his family home. So they grew up without their father in their lives. These stories really sound true and practical and make a lot of sense to me. Whatever the real story is and whether or not the rest of you reading this believe it is up to you. I look forward to hearing your family history.
